Tax Collection: We collect the following tax bills, which are mailed to property owners twice a year:

• Cumberland County & West Pennsboro Township real estate tax notices (mailed on or before March 1st)
• Big Spring School District real estate tax notices (mailed on or before July 1st)

If you do not receive a real estate tax notice, please contact Lori A. Marshall.

Important: If your real estate taxes are in escrow, forward your tax bill to your mortgage holder immediately for timely processing. Check with your lender to determine payment expectations and avoid duplicate or missed payments.

Acceptable Payments: Tax payments can be made via check, money order, or certified check, payable to Lori A. Marshall, Tax Collector.

How to Send Payments:

1. Mail to: PO Box 190, Plainfield, PA 17081 (tax payments by mail must be postmarked on or before the due date)
2. Deliver during office hours to: 149 Kerrs Rd., Carlisle, PA 17015
3. No personal checks after December 15th

If you would like a receipt of payment, include a self-addressed, stamped envelope with your payment.

Tax Certification:

• For 2021 certifications, email Deb Piper at debpipertax@gmail.com
• For 2022 and 2023 certifications, email or mail Lori Marshall

Service Fees (payable to Lori Marshall):

• Tax Certification: $15.00 fee per parcel
• Copy of a tax bill: $4.00 fee
• Returned Check Fee: $25.00 per returned check
