The West Pennsboro Township Planning Commission is responsible for guiding the growth and development of the community through the implementation of land use and zoning regulations. The commission is made up of appointed members who serve a 4-year term.
The Planning Commission meets regularly on the 4th Tuesday of each month at 6:00 PM. These meetings provide an opportunity for members to review development proposals, provide recommendations to the Board of Supervisors on land use and zoning issues, and ensure that new development aligns with the overall vision for the community.
The commission works to balance the needs of developers and property owners with the interests of residents, ensuring that new development is sustainable, promotes economic growth, and preserves the character of the community.
