West Pennsboro Township has entered into an Inter-governmental Cooperation Agreement to provide garbage, solid waste, recycling, and bulk item collection. The Apple Valley Waste Services started July 1, 2021 for a 5-year term.

The new rates are as follows; Full Service (Trash Toter & Recycling Toter) = $55.75 per quarter, Senior Citizen Rate (65 years or older) (Trash Toter & Recycling Toter) = $49.75 per quarter, Recycling Only (Recycling Toter) = $43.50 per quarter, Bag Purchase = $5.00 per bag. Recycling is NOT included in the bag purchase.

Bulk pick-up will restart August 1, 2021. One weekly bulk pick-up with advanced notice will continue, for Full Service and Senior Citizen Service only.
